Life is fast paced and can be stressful,

many of us experience difficulties in which

we may need help with,

and by reading this you have taken that first step.

I like to work with people to

overcome their difficulties

and to start living life to the full again,

focussing on well-being.

I use cognitive Behavioural therapy

as a base for my approach

but I adapt treatment and goals

to the individuals wants and needs.

I work with individuals for various issues including ; -

Anxiety (all forms)

Panic Attacks

Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Bereavement and loss

Trauma and PTSD

Anger management,

self esteem / self confidence

Eating issues as well as

Weight management / body

image issues Long-term illness

General well-being.

Counselling for Children and young people.

Sometimes your child or teenager

may need counselling to enable them

to explore and understand their feelings

and the world around them.

Entrusting your child to someone else

is often a daunting thought.

I am fully qualified with a Diploma in

Child and Youth Counselling,

as well as 3 years experience working in

Schools as a schools counsellor.

I have a current DBS

(which has now replaced a CRB police check)

Using creative approaches such as sand tray,

games and art work,

this enables the young person to

explore and understand

what is going on for them.

In an initial assessment,

I am happy to talk to both parents

and children/ Young person

to discuss goals for therapy

and answer any questions or concerns

they may have about counselling.

If your particular issue is not on the list

contact me

and I will be happy to answer any questions.
